Write 'em down, Chase 'em down!

Time to get back to work.  After a safe, enjoyable holiday, we are faced with returning to our professions. What emotion hits us first when the holiday is over: "One step closer to my goals!" or "ugh...back to the grindstone."

While I am blessed to be pursuing my greatest professional passion, my career path was not always that way. There have been times where I did not look forward to returning to work. Work environment had a great deal to do with it, but my lack of written, specific personal goals had a greater impact on personal fulfillment.

A Dominican University study showed that people with specific, written goals achieved 33% more than professionals who do not. Added up over a year, this one practice resulted in significantly more successes.

So write 'em down, chase 'em down!
